Current movies, books, television shows and magazines are full of impressions and suggestions about sex. We have examples all around us of couples engaging in premarital and extra-marital sex. There’s no way around it—today’s culture fills our minds with hundreds of reasons to just…
The Life and Weird Times of Nommie and Jackie
As Christians, we’re striving to be more like Christ! We wanna be perfect like him and so we do all we can to not sin! BUT we’re human and its in our nature to sin and we will fall and get up. Yes? But what baffles me is how people can call themselves Christians and still go on INTENTIONALLY sinning as if they’re of the world?
Noone is forcing you to serve Christ so why live a double-life?
Why be at church on Sunday “praising” GOD, but on Monday back at school smoking weed round the corner?
Hebrews 10:26
Why though?

There’s this couple from pennsilvania, high school seniors, Andrew and Alex. Typical highschool romance, football player, cheerleader but adorable none the less. They were gorgoues, Christians, and all around lovely kids. They were so in love, its unimaginable. On Nov. 1st while driving back from Andrew’s house at around 10 pm Alex got into a car crash, hit a tree and was killed instantly. The same day Alex died, she was telling Andrew how exciting it would be if they could make it to Heinz field for their football playoffs. Alex died on a tuesday, and andrew had to play in a football game on that same friday. After the game, the cheerleaders from the other school came over and gave each of the cheerleaders on their team a flower and a hug. They left Alex’s spot empty in the line up, with her pom poms holding the place. After the game the whole stadium sang amazing grace and said a prayer for Alex. All the seniors were than given a balloon to let go of, when they let go of them there was one single shining star in the sky; people say this was Alex looking down on all of them from heaven. Last night they won there final playoff game, and next weekend they will go to Heinz field. Andrew always said he would get a tattoo for Alex, he just thought it would be later in life. Today he got a tattoo of their favorite bible verse, saying in the picture, “

Christians.
Please dont get too comfortable. The times we are living in - they arent times to be playing games, being ‘religious’ or backsliding. Put in 100% for Christ. Form a relationship with him and trust in Christ to help you STAY SAVED.
Ladies. That guy he’s not worth you going to hell for eternity. Brothers, neither is that sister.
I’m begging you. Keep yourselves in the word of God and in prayer. Pray for your brothers, sisters etc. Pray for your families to get saved if they arent.
We are living in the last days. You dont wanna be left behind when Jesus comes back. Get right with him now.
Yours in Christ,
Jackie….
Anonymous asked:
Sometimes, I find it hard to have faith… while I always have at least some, it’s hard for me to not question something I can’t see. I know that I can’t expect anything real or concrete to prove to myself that God exists, but how do I keep myself from questioning it? I can’t seem to just let my faith in God take over because sometimes, believing in Him seems unrealistic and honestly kind of foolish. How do you just know and have total confidence in His authenticity?

I know exactly how you feel. At first when I began to read the bible, Genesis, and how the world was created , it sounded like a tale. In fact to be honest, it sounded kind of foolish. I spoke to God and told Him how I felt. It is important to be honest with Him and ask for His help. The Bible is not for human interpretation but only with the discernment of the Holy Spirit can we understand. We must remember our own testimony and other’s testimonies for our faith to be strengthened. After asking God for help, I stumbled across a book and I just wanted to read straight through. I highly recommend this book, Jesus freaks by DC. This book has testimonies that will make your mouth drop and bring a tear to your eyes.
